These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of siddhiepl.com and shop.siddhiepl.com (together, the “Websites”), and any purchase of products from us. The Websites are owned and operated by Siddhi Equipments Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India with its registered office at Survey No. 476/477/1, Plot No. 16, Naigaon Road, Shinde Industrial Area, Nashik, Maharashtra – 422102 (“Siddhi Equipments”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing the Websites, creating an account, placing an order or sending an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy and Shipping and Exchange Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Websites.

1. About the Websites

siddhiepl.com is our corporate website. It provides information about our security equipment — hand held metal detectors, door frame (walk through) metal detectors, conveyor belt / stone crusher metal detectors and access control devices such as turnstiles and barriers — and lets you send enquiries and request quotations.

shop.siddhiepl.com (“Shop Siddhi”) is our online store, where you can buy selected products (currently our hand held metal detector range) directly, with a GST invoice.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order. If you are buying on behalf of a business or institution, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
• You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately at sales@siddhiepl.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• You agree to give accurate and complete information — including your name, phone number, billing and shipping address and, where applicable, your GSTIN — and to keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or close an account that has been used fraudulently, in breach of these Terms, or in a way that could harm us or other users.

3. Products and Information

• We try to describe and photograph our products accurately. Product images are for illustration; the actual product’s colour, finish or accessories may vary slightly.
• Specifications such as detection sensitivity, range and battery life are measured under standard test conditions. Actual performance can vary with the environment, the object being detected, interference and how the product is used and maintained.
• We continually improve our products and may change designs or specifications without notice, provided the change does not reduce the essential functionality of what you ordered.
• All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable, we will inform you and either offer an alternative or cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Pricing, GST and Coupons

• All prices on Shop Siddhi are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. A GST invoice is issued for every order; to claim input tax credit, enter your correct GSTIN and business name at checkout. We cannot reissue an invoice with a different GSTIN once it has been filed.
• Prices and offers may change at any time. The price that applies is the one shown at the time you place your order.
• If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typographical or technical error, we may cancel the order even after confirmation and will refund any amount paid in full.
• Coupons and discount codes (for example, first-purchase offers) are subject to their stated conditions, can be used only once per customer unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined unless expressly allowed, have no cash value and may be withdrawn at any time. We may cancel orders where a coupon has been misused.

5. Orders and Acceptance

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. You will receive an order acknowledgement by email; this is not acceptance. A contract is formed only when we confirm and dispatch your order.
• We may decline or cancel an order — for example, where stock is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, delivery is not possible to your PIN code, or the order appears fraudulent or intended for resale in breach of our dealer arrangements. Any amount paid will be refunded in full.
• We may limit order quantities on Shop Siddhi. For larger quantities, please use the bulk enquiry form on siddhiepl.com.

6. Payment

• Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateways using UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, wallets or any other method shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card or bank details.
• Your order is processed only after the payment is successfully received. If money is debited but the order is not confirmed, it is usually reversed automatically by the bank or gateway within 5–7 business days; if not, contact us with the transaction details.
• For orders through quotations or purchase orders, payment terms (advance, against proforma invoice, bank transfer etc.) will be as stated in our quotation or order confirmation.

7. Quotations and Bulk Orders

Enquiries made through siddhiepl.com, by email, phone or WhatsApp — for walk through metal detectors, conveyor belt metal detectors, turnstiles, barriers or bulk quantities — are handled through a written quotation. Unless the quotation says otherwise:

• quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue;
• prices exclude freight, GST, site civil work, electrical cabling, and installation unless specifically included;
• the specific commercial terms in our quotation, proforma invoice or order confirmation will apply alongside these Terms, and will prevail over these Terms where the two differ;
• customised or made-to-order equipment is governed by the cancellation terms in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Delivery, Installation and Risk

• Delivery is governed by our Shipping and Exchange Policy. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
• Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.
• Where installation or commissioning is part of the order, you must ensure the site is ready (floor level, power supply, civil work and access) on the agreed date. Additional visits caused by site unreadiness may be charged.

9. Warranty

• Our products carry a manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects for the period stated on the product page, quotation or warranty card (if no period is stated, 12 months from the date of invoice).
• During the warranty, we will repair or, at our discretion, replace the defective part or product. Repair at our Nashik facility may require you to send the product to us.
• The warranty does not cover: physical damage, water or liquid ingress, damage from improper voltage or battery leakage, use of unsuitable batteries or chargers, normal wear and tear, consumables (batteries, straps, pouches), tampering or repair by anyone other than us or our authorised service partner, or use not in line with the user manual.
• Warranty claims require the original invoice and the product’s serial number, where applicable.

10. Proper Use of Products

Our products are security screening aids. They help detect metallic objects but do not guarantee detection of every threat or object in every circumstance. You are responsible for using them in line with the user manual, with trained personnel, and in compliance with applicable laws, including laws on frisking, privacy and dignity of persons being screened. Security outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Websites — including the “SIDDHI” and “CHEKPOST” names, logos, product names, designs, text, photographs, graphics and software — is owned by or licensed to Siddhi Equipments Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal or internal business use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify or use any content commercially without our prior written permission.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not: use the Websites for any unlawful purpose; provide false information or impersonate anyone; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Websites, servers or other accounts; introduce viruses or harmful code; scrape or harvest data by automated means; interfere with the Websites’ security or operation; or post enquiries or reviews that are false, abusive, defamatory or infringe anyone’s rights.

13. Limitation of Liability

• The Websites are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, or losses arising from any security incident at premises where our products are used.
• Our total liability for any claim connected with a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
• Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by contract.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Siddhi Equipments Pvt. Ltd., its directors, employees and partners against any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Websites or products, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

15. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, epidemics, strikes, transport disruptions, government action, power or internet failures, or courier delays.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern amicably. Subject to that, the courts at Nashik, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have as a consumer to approach the consumer commission having jurisdiction under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Orders already placed are governed by the Terms in force when the order was placed.

18. Grievances and Contact

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the details of our Grievance Officer are given below. We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month of receipt.
